This is a slooooow process, UGH!

I am frustrated.  We have been working on our house to get it ready for sale but it has been a slow process. I feel like I am unmotivated when doing things myself but very motivated when others (like my husband) is there to help.  Add my lack of motivation with crazy hot weather this summer and I am just a puddle of sweat.  Last week we had a full 7 or 8 days with temperatures over 100 degrees!  That is just not a hospitable temp to work in.  We did have a huge yard sale last Friday and Saturday and we sold a lot of stuff and then donated the rest to Goodwill.  That was a GREAT feeling.  We made over $500 when it was all said and done.  Not bad for two sweaty days of work  a two day yard sale.

On a sad note, we packed up all my crafting supplies and moved it all into storage.  We put the dining room back together and it is ready to have photos taken of that room.  That was a good thing.  The packing up of the craft stuff was a sad thing.

We are no closer to selling this house though than we were a week ago though.  We still have a lot of stuff laying around and I really don't know what to do with it.  I just really want to toss the keys on the counter and walk away from the house and all its junk send it all to Goodwill but I also know that I will want it later.   I am hoping and praying that our house will be mostly ready to put on the market by the end of Sunday.

Oh and just when I think I will have plenty of time to get some good cleaning done my garden decides to produce some major cucumbers and zucchini.  I have to do something with all this so I have been canning my little tail off.  I have made tons of pickles and relish, jams and more relish.  Ha ha.  I know what I am giving as Christmas gifts this year!

Did I tell you we haven't found our camera that we lost?  Nope, not found.  I didn't think we would find it really.  It is just gone.  I need a new one because I like to put photos in my blog posts.

Okay, just writing this post has motivated me some.  I am going to run two errands and one of them will actually get me just a little closer to putting our house on the market.  Thanks friends for the motivation! :)
